Ben Moran

Marina Manager

Ben has spent his life on the water, starting at age eight in Optimists, Toppers and Lasers, before progressing to double-handers like Enterprises and Hobie Cats. He has sailed across the UK, with a favourite spot being the waters around the Isle of Wight, sailing from Hamble. Now with a family, he enjoys boating with his children, who already share his passion. Outside of sailing, Ben is a keen musician and plays piano, guitar and bass daily, often unwinding at the piano after work.

Andy Young

Dockmaster

Andy is an integral part of team Penton Hook. He has worked for MDL at Penton since 2001 and has a wealth of experience within the marine industry. Previous to MDL, Andy has had various roles including agriculture in which he operated machinery and plant, entertainment retail and the local authority. Look out for Andy walking the site and pontoons.

David Potterton

Marina Operative

David has a wealth of boating experience after spending his whole working life on the Thames. He is an integral part of the team at Penton Hook and has been since joining in 1998. Prior to MDL, David was employed as a skipper on large pleasure cruisers on the Thames, in and around Windsor. Look out for David checking customers boats to make sure they are safe and secure.
