Woolverstone Marina and Lodge Park is set in 22 acres of glorious parkland on the picturesque River Orwell. Within easy reach of the sea and a multitude of scenic destinations, this is a great base to start cruising.
There are 235 pontoon berths and 45 swinging moorings with a water taxi service. There’s also a luxurious on-site lodge park, a sailing school and the Royal Harwich Yacht Club (RHYC), which offers stunning views out across the river.
The RHYC welcome MDL berth holders to make use of their public bar and catering facilities. Simply show your MDL card to the bar staff or your boat details, displayed within your MyMDL account area, on your phone or tablet and sign the visitors book upon arrival.
Diesel is also available and online bookings can be made via MyMDL for Woolverstone Marina and any of our fuel stations in the UK.
The Green Blue has developed an online map to show which marinas, boatyards and harbours provide environmental facilities such as pump out, black water/Elsan disposal, recycling, freshwater refill points, hazardous waste disposal and filtered/bunded boat washdown. Click here for the location map.
Our luxury Lodge Park offers a stunning retreat nestled in tranquil woodland beside the River Orwell. Perfect peace and luxury living combine into a unique escape for couples and families looking to unwind in the beautiful Suffolk countryside.
Sophistication, style and blissful touches of luxury mean that these exquisite lodges offer an idyllic slice of riverside life. Breakfast to birdsong on your private decking as you watch the wildlife go by or kick back after a day's adventure with starry skies above. There truly is something for everyone.
Next to the marina, the River Orwell is particularly scenic and there are numerous creeks in Walton Backwaters to explore.
To the south, the Colne and Blackwater estuaries offer varied sailing, while turning north takes you towards the River Deben where you can cruise upriver past Ramsholt to the pretty town of Woodbridge.
Our Chatham Maritime Marina, situated on the River Medway in Kent, is just a day's cruise away.
A little further up the coast is the Ore/Alde River, where a fast tide sweeps you past Havergate Island, up to picturesque Orford and on to Aldeburgh. If you’d like to go further afield, Ostend in Belgium is only 92 miles away from Woolverstone, whilst Holland and France are also within easy reach.
To reward our loyal berth holders and visitors in the UK, we’ve introduced Otium Rewards. Our loyalty scheme is your fast-track to exclusive loyalty points and rewards.
