River Hamble Webcam

Mercury Yacht Harbour is set in a sheltered wooded site where the shallow waters of Badnam Creek join the River Hamble. Originally built by Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, the marina offers berthing for 360 boats and enjoys deep water at all states of tide. Its excellent facilities include the Gaff Rigger bar and restaurant.

Boatyard facilities

Mercury Yacht Harbour offers excellent boatyard facilities for boat repairs or maintenance work. Besides winter storage ashore for over 100 boats, there is a 20-ton travel hoist and boat mover. All lifting at the yard is carried out by MDL's professional, highly qualified team. A number of companies both on site and locally offer a wide variety of specialist services ranging from sail makers to engineers. Further marine services are available at Hamble Point Marina.

24/7 Storage

There are also secure and convenient storage facilities onsite. So if you need to stow boating gear, or you have business or household goods to store, click here to find out more or call 023 8045 5994.

Out and about

The marina is just a 20-minute walk from Hamble village. It is a scenic, peaceful spot, which still provides easy access to Southampton Water and the Solent. There are plenty of other tranquil anchorages to visit, such as Newtown Creek on the Isle of Wight or the pretty Beaulieu River.

Our Holiday Park, offering camping, touring and self catering accommodation, is positioned right next to Mercury Yacht Harbour.

Further afield is Poole Harbour and to the east lie Portsmouth and the sheltered waters of Chichester Harbour.

There's always activity on the River Hamble, with fleets of racers out every weekend during the summer. Throughout autumn, many sailors participate in the Hamble Winter Series. Mercury Yacht Harbour also provides an ideal base from which to visit some of our other marinas in the Southampton area. Nearby Ocean Village Marina offers a lively scene with a cinema, restaurants and bars.
