From the M25 Junction 2, take the A2 towards Canterbury. At the junction of the A2/M2 take the A289. Follow signs towards the Medway Tunnel. On exiting the tunnel, take the slip road on the left and once on this road get into the right-hand lane. At the top of the slip road is a set of traffic lights and a roundabout. Turn right at the roundabout and follow the road towards Chatham. At the next roundabout turn right onto Western Avenue and follow the road round to the marina.


BY RAIL

From London you can catch a train from London Bridge, Victoria, Charing Cross or Waterloo East to Chatham. The marina can then be reached by a short taxi ride from the rank right outside the station. Use the National Rail Enquiries website to plan your journey.


BY BOAT

Enter the River Medway off Garrison Pt (Sheerness) and follow the buoyed channel for 9.5 miles. The entrance to Chatham Maritime Marina is 1·5 miles above Gillingham, after a long left-hand bend. Enter the marina via a lock, available H24, but with only 1·5m over the sill at MLWS. Waiting pontoons are without/in. Call ‘Chatham Maritime Marina’ on VHF Ch 80 or by mobile for a vacant berth.
