Firstly the team at Penton Hook would like to thank all berth holders for keeping your boat with us this season and hope that you have had an enjoyable year’s boating.

Hosted Dunkirk Little Ships Annual Event

Back in September we had the privilege of hosting this annual event. It was wonderful to see so much history in the marina, with some absolutely stunning boats in attendance. The veterans had a wonderful couple of days cruising up and down the Thames. Check out the photos on our Facebook page! We hope to welcome the association back next year for another superb event.

Marina Improvements

Over the past couple of months you may have noticed that we have been re-decking serval pontoons in the marina. Pontoons A, B & D have all been re-decked and we hope that you have noticed what a difference this has made. We have also invested in a brand-new pump out for west harbour that we hope will make a massive improvement to the facilities in that area of the marina. Back in the summer we undertook a refurbishment of the elsan by the marina office. We have also freshened up all the markings in the car parks which has made a huge impact.

Events at Penton

Despite the pandemic hindering our events calendar this year, we have been able to improve the BBQ area that many of you have taken advantage of over the sunnier months. We hope to be able to do more social events next year, keep an eye out round the marina for further details next season.

Christmas is now firmly on the horizon and there will be festive treats at the marina for you to enjoy, so if you’re visiting be sure to pop into the marina office and enjoy a treat with the team. We would like to thank you all for your continued support and look forward to another memorable season of boating next year.
