Welcome to Northney Marina Winter News

As things are starting to return to ‘normal’ after the pandemic, we’ve had a very busy summer season during 2021 and we do hope you’ve all been on some fantastic adventures.

We hosted a very successful Sea Angling event in July. This was a free event with everyone welcome, food, drink and music for all! It was a taster event for the upcoming main event, which will be taking place in June 2022 in Portsmouth.

There’s been a few additions to the marina this year, which we’re sure you’ve already seen. We now have a small chandlery/store located in the main reception area, operated by Boxmarine. This also incorporates a small shop for general provisions and has proved very popular with everyone since they opened.

We also have a new display area in the foyer, showing off the latest in electric boat engines, provided for by eSolent. With our sister site, Sparkes Marina, set to install a new electric boat charging point in the very near future, this is the way forward to greener boating.

The Roundhouse has now been redeveloped into fantastic luxury apartments of which nearly all are occupied. We’re sure you’ll agree that this is a wonderful upgrade on the building that was looking a little tired prior to the works.

Looking towards 2022, the marina is fully occupied once again, so we expect to have another busy season ahead. You’ll see some familiar (and possibly new) faces around the marina, as our summer staff return to help make the season run smoothly for you.

Hopefully, with the restrictions easing, we can start planning for more future activities at the marina – watch this space! Remember to let us know if you would like to receive our news and offers via email as not everyone is subscribed - you don’t want to miss out!

Everything is looking great for 2022 and we look forward to seeing you at the marina soon.
