Welcome to Bray Marina Winter News

We’ve had a very busy season at Bray Marina this year and it has been great seeing so many boaters, new and old, out enjoying the river. Our onsite tenants have also reported how busy they’ve been - Bray Marine Sales have been actively selling boats all season, many of which have taken a mooring with us, and Primefit Marine have continued to support our berth holders with breakdowns, installations, repairs and servicing.

Hopefully, you’ve also had a chance to enjoy a meal at Mediterranevm, which we’ve heard nothing but great reviews about since they re-opened last year. What better way to enjoy your evening after a day out boating than to wander over with your family and friends and enjoy a five-star meal and some drinks whilst watching the boats go by! They have prepared their winter menu and are also offering Christmas packages, so if you’re planning a visit do call and book first, as they get very busy.

We’ve also had some new faces at the marina, and we’re delighted to welcome Iona, Finlay and Chris to the team, who all work between both Bray & Windsor supporting the marina operations on an ad-hoc basis. They are keen to assist you in any way they can, so please stop and say hello when you see them.

Sadly, we are now starting to see the last of our visitors, and as we draw the season to a close, many of you will be planning on wrapping your boats up for the winter or perhaps having them lifted for some winter maintenance. If so, our brilliant onsite lifting company Bray Craning will be able to assist you with your plans. Don’t forget, if you’re on our Berthing Plus Otium package, you get 8 weeks inclusive storage ashore which should give you enough time to get through your list of jobs. If not, please contact the marina office for assistance.

We, the marina team, will be continuously walking the site and keeping an eye on your boats over winter and if we see anything that needs your attention, we will of course call you straight away. However, we do encourage you to pop in regularly to check on your boat, particularly inside the cabin, the bilges and ensuring the battery levels are topped up.

Christmas is now firmly on the horizon and there will be festive treats at the marina for you to enjoy, so if you’re visiting be sure to pop into the marina office and enjoy a treat with the team. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and we look forward to another great season ahead!
