Arrangements for the 19th September

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll. Her lifetime of service, duty and devotion will always be remembered, and our deepest condolences go out to The Royal Family at this incredibly sad time.

As you’ll be aware, Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral will be held on Monday 19th September 2022, which has been declared a national bank holiday.

On the day, our marinas will still be open, in line with our normal bank holiday arrangements. However, some services such as boat lifting will not be available that day. If you have a boatyard booking for the 19th, our team will contact you to reschedule to a suitable day.

Dry Stack will also be operating, although staff will be given the opportunity to pay their respects, so please bear this in mind during the service. We will also join the rest of the nation in observing the two-minute silence and our flags will be flown at half-mast at all MDL marinas.
