New Chandlery opens its doors at Northney Marina, Hayling Island

We're delighted to announce that a brand new chandlery has opened its doors at our Northney Marina on Hayling island this month. Boxmarine Chandlery are offering a wide selection of chandlery items from well known marine brands, leisure equipment and a selection of boutique gifts from one of of the most picturesque locations on the south coast.

Co founder Kate Steward explains: “We are delighted to be opening our new chandlery here at Northney Marina. Our shop location right at the heart of marina allows us to offer a wide selection of marine products to support both the MDL berth holders and the local boating community".

The initial response since opening has been overwhelmingly positive from both the berth holders and visitors to the marina. Convenience plays a major part for boat owners who don't want the hassle of travelling further afield to acquire the items they need. We also offer a collection service for orders from our website.

Boxmarine are a family run business with a passion for sailing so understand the needs that the boating community require. They want their customers to feel welcomed and valued, priding themselves on the high level of service they provide.... and are always happy to 'go that extra mile'!

When they began their chandlery business online a few year ago, it soon became apparent that having a physical retail destination that customers can come and discuss their boating requirements would add value. Our Northney Marina on Haying was chosen as an ideal fit. The local area is full of boating clubs, sailing enthusiasts and a real passion for watersports. The shop now gives Boxmarine an opportunity to showcase some of the great products and brands they have available.
