Training for the 2021 Great Pacific Rowing Race

In June 2021, Ocean Sheroes will be taking part in The Great Pacific Rowing Race, a 2,700 mile row from San Francisco, California to Waikiki, Hawaii. The 4 woman team will be aiming to break the current World Record of 50 days, 8 hours and 14 minutes, set in 2014.

Known as one of the toughest endurance races on earth, only 60 people (22 teams) have ever completed the row between mainland USA and Hawaii. To put this in perspective, to date, over 4,000 people have climbed Mount Everest, 1,604 have wintered at the South Pole and 566 people have been to space.

MDL are proud to support Bella, Purusha, Mary and Lily as they prepare for this unbelievable challenge at Hamble Point Marina on the River Hamble.
