Major Artist comes to Hamble Point

Just before lockdown, SE Yachts were lucky enough to welcome the exceptionally talented artist, Rod Major, to their home at Hamble Point Marina. He worked his magic on the canvas when painting this picture of the Arcona 430.

Painting outdoors on the spot, he strives to capture the essence and mood of a place in a spontaneous way.

In addition to commercial galleries, Rod has exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, the Royal Institute of Oil Painters, The Royal Society of Marine Artists, Royal Society of British Artists and the Chelsea Art Society.
