From Marina to Thailand: MDL Marinas Winners Enjoy Trip of a Lifetime

Back in September 2025, long-standing Ocean Village Marina berth holders Matt and Becky were announced as the winners of an unforgettable luxury sailing adventure to Thailand, following a prize draw held by MDL Marinas

Now safely back from their incredible trip, the couple have shared memories of an experience they describe as truly unforgettable.

Their prize included a seven day catamaran charter in Phuket, Thailand, organised in partnership with Fairview Sailing and Simpson Yacht Charter, alongside a contribution towards flights.

During the trip, Matt and Becky explored Thailand’s stunning coastline, crystal clear waters and picturesque islands aboard a luxury Lagoon catamaran, experiencing world class sailing conditions, vibrant local culture and unforgettable scenery throughout their adventure.

The couple, who have been part of the Ocean Village Marina community for many years, were originally selected after embracing the spirit of exploring the wider MDL marina network during the 2025 boating season.
