Martyn Sherratt

Marina Manager

Martyn has worked at Brixham Marina since 2010. He started as a Dockmaster before being promoted to Marina Manager and has also recently taken the helm at Torquay Marina. Before joining MDL, Martyn was a branch manager for Booker Wholesale. His focus is to keep customer service at a very high level and ensure our berth holders make memories every time they visit our marinas in Torbay.

George Gerc

Administrator

George has been with MDL since 2004 and before that he worked on Loch Lomond. He started his MDL career as a Dockmaster before he decided to change roles back in 2017 and now is our Office Administrator. In his spare time, George is a keen musician and even used to be part of a band.

Guy Edwards

Relief Casual Worker

Guy joined the team as in August 2021. Alongside this he also runs a community interest company called HealthScape CIC which helps people with mental health using the benefits of the sea for cold water therapy. Guy's caring nature and background in customer service means a high level of enthusiasm and service is delivered to berth holders and visitors every time.

Jamie Abbs

Marina Operative

Jamie joined MDL in 2019. He has been involved in boating all of his life and enjoys life on the water. Previous to MDL, Jamie spent his time managing a car body repair garage.

Marcus Clark

Night Dockmaster

Marcus has been with MDL since 2005 and brings a vast amount of skills to the role. Before MDL, Marcus was a soldier, a rigger and also a fisherman. Marcus will always go above and beyond to assist in any way he can.

Steve Eales

Night Dockmaster

Steve is one of our full time Night Dockmasters. He has fulfilled most roles at Brixham Marina over many years including maintaining the marina and its facilities. Steve is a consummate professional with a great eye for detail, which is easier said than done at night time.
