12.15 – 12:45 | The Solent Tri-Foiler, Electric Foiling Trimaran Chartwell Marine, Solent University, and Newcastle Marine Services are involved in a government-backed project to design an electrical foiling trimaran. This trimaran is a proof of concept for inshore fast ferry design, and applicable to routes such as the Southampton-Cowes RedJet service. Stephen will be talking about this project and its aims. | |
