Cobb’s Quay Marina Berth Holder News

We’d like to say a massive thank you to all our berth holders for keeping your boat with us this year. It has been a season of change and we’ve seen a number of new faces in the team and lots of new berth holders.

We’ve had a great year so far and we hope you’ve been able to get out and enjoy the harbour and further afield this season. We’ve hosted some great events at the marina, from our Marina Day in April to the Berth Holders Summer party in July, and we can’t forget the trolley of treats! We hope you’ve enjoyed these events as much as we have, it was great to see you all!

You may have noticed that we’ve been making some great improvements this year, including the completion of the berth holders’ facilities foyer, laundrette, and the addition of solar panels to the facilities building, helping us to achieve our sustainability goals. We’ve also completed the re-decking of A and C pontoons, and B and D will be completed over the coming months. The dredging program has now commenced and is due to be completed prior to Christmas.

As we come into the colder months, the team has now commenced the winter maintenance program to prepare for the start of next season.

There are more projects coming soon, including the relocation and redesign of the main entrance barrier system to make it much easier to transit into the marina. We anticipate this will be completed for the start of the 2024 season.
