As an annual MDL berth holder, at Navigators & General we offer a 20% discount when you buy or renew a policy,* alongside an enhanced range of features and benefits.
At Navigators & General our policies include:
- No Claims Discount to recognise careful ownership. 5% discount per year up to 25% discount for five years, with no claims protected in an MDL marina.
- Marina ready - £5m liability cover for third parties and passengers excluding employees and marine trade workers, fare paying passengers, water skiers, parascenders and divers.
- Covers single-handed use for up to 24 continuous hours for avid UK and Med sailors.
- Keeping you and your family safer if you think you’ve grounded; you pay the excess and we’ll pay for the lift to check for damage, with no excess charged in an MDL marina.
- Free tender insurance up to £2,000 and associated outboard up to £1,000, providing an approved outboard motor lock is in use.
- Up to £5,000 loss of berthing fees when you are unable to use your berth due to an insured event (excluding costs recouped by MDL).
- Loss of keys (£500 limit for any one claim) - Up to £2,000 per year.
- Cover for misfuelling (£500 limit for any one claim) - Up to £2,000 per year.
- Should you need to make a claim, we have a team on hand to authorise repairs or agree payments, to get your claim settled as quickly as possible. For more complex claims, a specialist handler will be assigned to manage and lead you through the process.
