Specification

SPECIFICATION

In any marina or boat yard project, everything needed to create the infrastructure and deliver the service must be specified. This is a detailed task, and key to it is a working knowledge of all equipment, products, materials, systems and services available in the market place. With our experience and purchasing power, we’re well placed to advise you on new equipment ensuring that it’s fit for purpose and meets the medium- and longer-term needs of your business.

The process of specifying begins at the early stages of planning a new marina or boat yard development. We first specify design requirements, or define general standards to form the brief for the project.

As we develop the design, it’s necessary we specify individual materials or component parts used in construction with consideration to quality and appearance, performance, durability and sustainability.

Marina systems, equipment, services provided by external suppliers, uniforms etc. must all be specified when the marina is first set up – and they need to be reviewed regularly once in operation.

Both through operating our own marinas and from our consultancy projects, we have the experience to help you select the right products and services for your project.
