Chatham Maritime Marina Berth Holder News
We’d like to start off by saying a massive thank you to all our berth holders for keeping your boat with us this year. What a fantastic season 2023/2024 has been for investment: we invested in our boatyard plant and refurbished our marina facilities.
Next season is looking equally, if not more exciting than the last. We have a fabulous events calendar being put together, the return of our popular trolly of treats throughout the year, more investment into plant and refurbishment of our facilities, plus much, much more.
We’re already exploring what discounts and offers we can establish with our local providers to benefit our berth holders - keep an eye out for these on our social media pages. If you don’t currently receive our emails be sure to log into MyMDL and amend your preferences so you don’t miss out.
You may have seen that we updated our website with new faces in the team. We said goodbye to Ben, Shanna, Kay, and Craig and thank them for their hard work and memories they made and wish them well for pastures new. We’d like to welcome Aaron and Sam, our new Marina Operatives who you will see on shift together. Max has also joined us as Marina Operative, and Jakob who you may already know is ready to take on the yard and you may receive a call from him to make sure your boat is booked in for a winter or new season lift. Chelsea, Neil, and Jack have also joined the team and are excited to start their new journey with us. You will see them all around the pontoons and office – please do say hello. We’ll also continue to be supported by Charlie, Micheal, Lily, Wayne, and Richard. You can familiarise yourself with the team by checking out our ‘Meet the team’ board in the marina facilities block and on our website.
It was a pleasure to meet some of you at ‘Meet the Manager’ session and we’ll be introducing this session going forward, so watch out for the next one. We’ll also be introducing a fun-filled events calendar – keep an eye on our Facebook page for more details.
We’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your patience and understanding during our recent lock repair work. You can expect us to continue to invest in our marina as we’ve done this year, and we look forward to a new season of smooth and happy sailing.
