We provide editorial images and press releases to publicise MDL Marinas via our PR agency’s website.
Journalists are permitted to take images and video at MDL Marinas for strictly editorial use only.
We have a variety of stunning marinas across the UK, which offer perfect image or video locations for businesses and production companies. Taking images or video for commercial purposes MUST be agreed in advance by the marina manager or the MDL Marinas central marketing team. Fees may also apply. The MDL Marina’s photography/filming form must be completed, signed by both parties, and provided along with a copy of your public liability insurance and site-specific risk assessment. Tenants are welcome to commission video or stills photography to promote their business, as long as they abide by their tenancy agreement and the marina rules and regulations.
Taking images or video for private, non-commercial use is welcome at our marinas. Any images or video produced must not be for commercial or promotional gain. Images or video are prohibited to be uploaded to image agency websites or image libraries.
You are welcome to take images or video outdoors, however taking photographs or filming indoors is dependent on the property you're visiting. Please check with the staff at the property before taking images or video.
We do not grant permission for private flying of drones from our marinas. Permission is only granted for commercial filming by qualified drone operators. A copy of the licence from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) must be supplied. The MDL Marina’s photography/filming form must also be completed, signed by both parties, and provided along with a copy of your public liability insurance and site-specific risk assessment. All photography and filming must be compliant with GDPR.
