Out and about
There are many attractions nearby. Upstream is the National Trust property, Cliveden House, with its extensive gardens and woodlands. Cookham is home of the Queen's Swan Keeper, who can sometimes be seen in his traditional costume. Further on still is Hambledon Mill – and from here, the river is navigable as far as Lechlade.

Downstream lie the historic towns and villages of Windsor, Eton, Datchet and Runnymede. And if you use Penton Hook as a stop-off overnight, Central London comes within cruising reach.

Freedom Berthing gives you even more freedom to explore any of the 18 marinas in our UK network stretching from Devon to Suffolk, plus 96 European destinations in France, Spain and Italy.
