SIRENA 48

Overview

UK Debut of the Sirena 48

The Sirena 48 by Sirena Yachts is a 16-metre semi-displacement motor yacht designed with long-range cruising firmly in mind, blending expedition-style capability with modern luxury. With a beam of around 5 metres and a relatively shallow draft of just over 1 metre, it offers excellent stability and access to a wide variety of cruising grounds, from coastal passages to extended offshore trips. Powered by twin diesel engines, it reaches top speeds of approximately 24–26 knots, while maintaining an efficient cruising speed of around 16 knots, supported by a substantial 1,900-litre fuel capacity for extended range. What sets the Sirena 48 apart is its hull design by renowned naval architect Germán Frers, delivering a balance between performance, comfort, and fuel efficiency that suits both leisurely cruising and more ambitious journeys.

Inside, the Sirena 48 focuses heavily on space optimisation and versatility, typically offering accommodation for up to six guests across three cabins, with an optional crew cabin configuration. The layout is notably flexible, with multiple aft deck and interior arrangements available, allowing owners to tailor the yacht to their cruising style. Large windows and a wide beam create a bright, open saloon, while the overall design leans toward contemporary luxury with a practical edge, ideal for extended time onboard. Combined with features such as stabilisation systems, generous tank capacities, and a strong emphasis on onboard liveability, the Sirena 48 positions itself as a highly capable, owner-operated cruiser that bridges the gap between traditional trawler yachts and modern planing motor yachts.
