seaward my-42

Overview

“…then there are boats like the Seaward 42, which truly can venture forth any time in any weather. The 42 is the real McCoy.” – (Motor Boat & Yachting)

Based on Seaward’s Nelson 42 pilot boat hull form, this RCD Category A ocean-going motor yacht is at the top of the Seaward range. Its sea keeping qualities are legendary, making it ideal for extended offshore passage making. It comes with either an aft-cockpit or with an aft-cabin.

The latter version has a second outside helm position. David Marsh, Technical Editor of Motor Boat & Yachting, gave the following verdict on the Seaward 42; ‘There are the pretenders, the boats with blue hulls and chunky trawler-like styling that only appear to be serious sea-going boats. Then there are boats like the Seaward 42, which truly can venture forth anytime in any weather. The 42 is the real McCoy.’ He refers also to the Seaward 42s ‘….outstanding practical detailing that is clearly the result of obsessive compulsive disorder at work somewhere in the company.’
