The first electric drive model from UK production catamaran builder Broadblue was the Broadblue 345 launched in 2009. This innovative 10.2m catamaran employed the Fischer Panda drive system and the “state of the art” battery and charging solutions of the time.

On display at The Green Tech Boat Show is the new Broadblue 346 ECO also using the Fischer Panda drive solution and the current production battery and charging solutions from Victron. The Broadblue 346 is a UK designed and built production cruising catamaran available in both electric and diesel formats. It is the most successful production catamaran in this class for a decade.

The combination of great sailing ability and electric drive offer the Broadblue 346 catamaran owners the opportunity to enjoy quality time aboard in comfort and safety and without the noise of a diesel engine.
