#1 Administrator - MDL Hamble Marinas

Situated at the mouth of the River Hamble; Hamble Point and Port Hamble Marinas along with Mercury Yacht Harbour are considered to be its flagship sites. As an extremely busy and high profile visitor destination we aim to deliver the highest level of service and experience for our members and customers; demanding the very best from our team every day.

To help us deliver exceptional service we are seeking to recruit an Administrator at MDL Hamble Marinas.

This is a very exciting opportunity for an experienced, motivated and driven individual. You will be passionate about providing the best possible levels of customer service and will have proven experience in administration and credit control. You will be part of the administration and front of house operation across the Hamble marinas and will strive to deliver outstanding levels of customer service and experience; exceeding expectations on a daily basis.

This is a full time position working a 40 hour week, Monday to Friday with weekend working required to suit business demands and holiday cover.

The prime tasks and responsibilities for this role are:

  • To provide administration function for the Hamble marinas; including both Sales and Purchase Ledgers along with all appropriate reports and returns.
  • Operate a strict debt control policy in accordance with Company policy and procedures.
  • To provide reception cover and postal service for Saltmakers House.
  • Deliver operational process and systems in accordance with the quality management systems of the MDL Way.

Person Specification:

  • Professional, proactive, positive attitude and a provider of first class customer service.
  • Skilled administrator with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Flexible, numerate and self motivated.
  • Self motivated and able to work without supervision.
  • Innovative in your approach to solving problems.
  • Effective communicator, both verbally with the team on the ground, stakeholders and with senior management and with clear concise written communication skills.
  • Team player.
  • Have a customer focused philosophy permeating all your actions.
  • Results orientated with the drive to deliver and over perform.
  • Well presented and take a pride in your surroundings.

Required Experience:

  • Administration skills.
  • Accounts experience.

#2 Site Operative - Ocean Village Marina, Southampton

We currently require a Site Operative to join the team working at Ocean Village Marina.

You will be based at Ocean Village a high profile, busy marina situated in Southampton. With a new 5 star hotel, restaurants and cinema on site, the marina is a busy visitor destination. Our aim is to deliver a 5 star service to our customers, which demands the best from our team every day.

The role will include:

  • General maintenance on the estate, marina and car parks.
  • Providing assistance to the Dock masters.
  • Maintaining the security of the site
  • Providing outstanding service to our customers
  • Administration of the on site car parks

This is a full time position working 7am to 7pm, on a four on four off rota pattern. You will be based at Ocean Village Marina.

The key requirements for this role are:

  • An ability to deliver the highest standards of customer service
  • Self motivated and able to work without supervision
  • Innovative in your approach to solving problems
  • Computer literacy, including social media and administration skills
  • A practical, resourceful and common sense approach
  • Enthusiastic and friendly with a flexible and positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • Ability to swim
