Northney Marina Visitor Guide

Northney Visitor Guide - Sunset over Northney MarinaNorthney Marina is situated on the north shore of Hayling Island within Chichester Harbour, one of Europe's largest natural harbours. The harbour's sheltered waters provide safe cruising and there are plenty of anchorages to explore within the area, such as Itchenor with its quaint pubs or Bosham village. Further afield, sail west to historic Portsmouth, explore the coastline around the Isle of Wight or go racing in the Solent. Our Sparkes, Hamble and Solent marinas are all within easy reach; and for our annual berth holders, who benefit from the exclusive privileges of our Club Outlook scheme, the short-stay visitor berthing charge is waived. A cruise to the West Country is also appealing and annual berth holders can take advantage of the reciprocal berthing arrangements at our marinas in Plymouth and Torbay. more about Northney Marina...

Langstone & Emsworth

Northney Visitor Guide - Langstone MillsLangstone is a village near Havant, Hampshire in the south east of England, between Portsmouth and Chichester. There are many large gated detached houses on the main road, "Langstone Road" and on the roads surrounding this. It has a sailing club, several architecturally unusual buildings, and several historically significant buildings, including a converted (water) millhouse and a converted 18th century windmill, the latter of which is a local landmark. The Ship Inn & Royal Oak on the harbourside are said to have once been smugglers' haunts and provide great food and wonderful views across the harbour. When the tide is in you can sit on the quay, sip your drink and dip your toes in the water. Houses in the terrace on Langstone High Street date back to the 1700s and a number are thatched. The other significant buildings... more about Langstone and Emsworth...
